Present Continuous Tense فعل حال جاری
پہچان :اردو فقروں کے آخر پر”رہا ہے، رہی ہے،رہا ہوں ،رہے ہیں،رہی ہوں ،رہی ہیں” وغیرہ آتا ہے۔جیساکہ
1 وہ چائے پی رہی ہے۔
2وہ روزانہ کالج جارہی ہے۔
- Three Helping Verbs: Is, Am, Are
- Form of Verb: (Ing ) 4rth form
Simple Sentences (سادہ جملے)
Formula:
Subject + Verb ( 4th form) (Is, Am, Are) + Object
| He is eating a meal. | وہ کھانا کھا رہا ہے۔ |
| He is driving the car. | وہ کار چلا رہا ہے۔ |
| We are playing۔ | ہم کھیل رہے ہیں۔ |
| You are helping him. | تم اسکی مدد کر رہے ہو۔ |
Negative Sentences (منفی جملے)
Formula:
Subject + Verb (4th form) Am not , Are not, Is not +Object
کا اضافہ کیا جاتا ہے۔ not کے بعد Is , Are , Am نوٹ: منفی بنانے کیلئے امدادی فعل
| The thief is not stealing . | چور چوری نہیں کر رہا ہے۔ |
| We are not making a noise. | ہم شور نہیں کر رہے ہیں۔ |
| You are not watching film. | تم فلم نہیں دیکھ رہے ہو۔ |
| They are not talking on the phone. | وہ فون پر بات نہیں کر رہے ہیں۔ |
Interrogative Sentences (سوالیہ جملے)
Formula:
(Am , Are , Is ) Subject + Verb (4th form) + Object
کو فاعل سے پہلے لگایا جاتا ہے اور آخر میں سوالیہ نشان لگایا جاتا ہے۔نیز Is, Are, Am نوٹ:سادہ سوالیہ بنانے کیلئے
ڈبل سوالیہ بنانے کیلئے استعمال ہوتے ہیں۔ When, ,What, How, Who, Where, Why
| Is the sun rising? | کیا سورج نکل رہا ہے؟ |
| Where are the people dancing? | لوگ کہاں ناچ رہے ہیں؟ |
| Is he reading the newspaper? | کیا وہ اخبار پڑھ رہا ہے؟ |
| Are we buying a new house? | کیا ہم نیا گھر خرید رہے ہیں؟ |
Interrogative & Negative Sentences (سوالیہ اورمنفی جملے)
Formula:
(Am not, Are not, Is not ) Subject + Verb (4th form) + Object
کا اضافہ کیا جاتا ہے۔ آخر میں سوالیہ “not”کو فاعل سے پہلے لگایا جاتا ہے اور پھر Is, Are, Am نوٹ:سادہ سوالیہ بنانے کیلئے
ڈبل سوالیہ بنانے کیلئے استعمال ہوتے ہیں۔ When, What, How, Who, Where, Why نشان لگایا جاتا ہے۔نیز
| Are they not playing together? | کیاوہ ایک ساتھ نہیں کھیل رہےہیں؟ |
| Are you not earning money? | کیاآپ پیسے نہیں کما رہے ہیں؟ |
| Is she not riding a bike? | کیاوہ موٹرسائکل نہیں چلا رہی ہے؟ |
| Am I not speaking English? | کیامیں انگلش نہیں بول رہا ہوں؟ |
